Go to the Apple AppStore or Google Play to download the most recent version of the Zoom mobile app for your device. (You may need to restart your computer after installation.) To install the new version, click Update. Zoom users need to install an urgent update or hackers could take control of their system, the company has warned. If a newer version of Zoom is available, it will be downloaded. ITS asks that all students, faculty and staff ensure they are using Zoom version 5.5 or newer before Nov.
To update Zoom to the most recent version:
Click Close (x) at top right to close the About window. The program will display information about the current version. Click your profile picture to open the Profile menu. View product changes, enhancements, and bug fixes for a specific Zoom product. (You may need to restart your computer after installation. To install the new version, click Update. Click Check for Updates If a newer version of Zoom is available, it will be downloaded.
